Rosso 599 GTB by Novitec

A far cry from their 808 bi-kompressor 599 GTB NOVITEC Rosso presents a new performance kit that gets back to basics. Gains for the V12 engine have been modest, with power only going up by 29kW (40hp). In its standard form the car's 6.0-litre puts out 456kW (620hp) which has been increased to 485kW (660hp). Nevertheless the tuner has attempted to make up for the shortcoming by instilling an extensive styling programme.

Components include a front spoiler lip, new rocker panels with large air dams, a new rear wing and an air diffuser. The aerodynamic pieces were tested in a wind tunnel. The front suspension system can be lowered by 40mm through the push of a button to help navigate those hard-to-approach places. When the car gets up to 80km/h it reverts to its original position. A special quad-pipe NOVITEC ROSSO sport exhaust system features a controllable exhaust flap that can turn its sound into the kind that racing drivers hear in their cars.

The double-spoke 20-inch and 21-inch wheels come wrapped in 275/30 ZR 20 or 355/25 ZR 21 Pirelli high-performance tyres respectively. They can be bought in different colour combinations.

NOVITEC Rosso's work would not be complete without making the customer feel at home. Therefore the interior includes a number of individualisation choices as well as a flat-bottom leather/carbon-fibre steering wheel and aluminium foot pedals.
